Influenza
Influenza (commonly known as flu) is a respiratory infection.
The healthcare data we have for influenza comes from a sentinel surveillance system (a data collection method used to monitor trends). This means the influenza healthcare data is not a count of every person being treated for influenza in hospital. Find out more about data collection for influenza.
