Amber heat health alerts extended for the East Midlands, East of England, London, West Midlands, South East and South West

Extended amber alerts will now be in place until Sat 15 Aug at 10am. Alerts in the North East, North West and Yorkshire and the Humber have not been extended and are in place until 9pm on Fri 14 Aug. More information.

Data showing new and late annual HIV diagnoses is now available on the UKHSA data dashboard.

This includes the absolute number of new diagnoses, the rate per 100,000 population, as well as the count and proportion of late diagnoses among population groups. More information can be found in the metrics documentation.

The data helps track progress towards the aim of ending HIV transmission in England.
