Changes to dashboard update frequency over the festive period

Some of the metrics will be updated on Wednesday 24 December at 2pm. The dashboard will not be updated the following week commencing Monday 29 December. Normal updates will resume for all metrics in the new year on Thursday 8 January at 4pm. More info.

COVID-19 positivity update affected by technical issue

On 11 November 2024, a data processing error led to a pipeline failure and prevented the COVID-19 positivity dataset from being produced.

Following this failure, work has been undertaken to understand the root cause and reinstate the pipeline. We have also completed an investigation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data published. Additional resilience has been added to the data processing.

Publication of COVID-19 positivity is expected to resume on Thursday 5 December 2024.

Positivity from a different source is published in the National Flu and COVID-19 Surveillance Report (Figure 6a).
