Correction to COVID-19 case rates data

Between 10 April and 27 April, published rolling-average case rates for COVID-19 were incorrect due to an error in population estimates used to calculate these metrics. As of 4pm on 28 April, these have been corrected. More information.

Updated measles chart

Entry description:

We have updated the chart showing measles cases by week of symptom onset.

The cases are now represented by markers connected by straight lines to show the data more accurately. We have also added a new colour palette to make it easier to distinguish between different trend lines.

A blue shaded section now shows the reporting delay, affecting the last 4 weeks of data collected. This replaces the dashed lines that we previously used to represent these data. The figures shown in this period are likely to underestimate the number of cases. This happens because of a delay between data collection and the time it takes to process it.
