This includes monthly consumption rates in both primary and secondary care settings, as well as data on prescribing by antibiotic categories. More information can be found in the metrics documentation.
Antibiotic prescribing and antibiotic resistance are inextricably linked, as overuse and incorrect use of antibiotics are major drivers of resistance.
