Amber and Yellow heat health alerts issued for different regions in England

The Amber alert affects East Midlands, South East, South West, East Of England and London. The Yellow alert affects Yorkshire and Humber and the West Midlands. Both alerts start 12pm Fri 27 June, ending 6pm Tues 1 July. More info: Weather health alerts.

COVID-19 healthcare metrics now updated monthly

In April, the NHS England announced a change to when it will make COVID-19 healthcare data available. Following publication of the April data last week, we have now made these data available on the UKHSA Data Dashboard. This includes data for patients admitted to hospital up to 28 April and patients in hospital up to 30 April.

Due to an issue with data processing, data for the NHS Trust St Magnus Hospital are present to 29 March. We aim to resolve this as soon as possible.
